Role title: Senior Legal Counsel
Department: Legal
Role Purpose:
Responsible for drafting and checking of all Legal Documentation, in terms of Credit Approval and/or Term Sheet, for client Banking Facilities and ISDA documentation within the Branch. The role is also responsible for providing high-quality, commercially focused legal advice on regulatory matters and operational contracting for the Branch and maintenance of Branch precedent transaction documents.
This role is expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, exercise sound judgement on complex matters, and contribute to the development of legal capability, controls and best practice across the Branch.
