About the role
Our client is a member-focused, regulated organisation in Adelaide. Working within its Enterprise Portfolio Management Office, you will lead complex, high-value technology and business transformation, overseeing end-to-end delivery and coordinating interconnected initiatives that support enterprise strategy.
The role suits an experienced Senior Project Manager who brings structure, clarity and momentum to complex delivery, while keeping people at the centre of change.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading complex, multi-stream projects from initiation through to transition, with clear scope, priorities, accountabilities and measurable outcomes
- Keeping an integrated view of milestones, critical paths, dependencies and resources, and helping leaders make good prioritisation and sequencing decisions
- Establishing strong governance across budgets, risks, issues, decisions, reporting and benefits
- Coordinating internal teams and external technology partners, and managing vendor commitments and performance
- Navigating dependencies across architecture, integration, data, testing, cyber security, organisational change and business readiness
- Applying human-centred design and co-design so solutions work for the people affected by change
- Facilitating workshops that encourage contribution, constructive challenge and shared ownership
- Coaching project team members and championing practical improvements to delivery practice
What you’ll bring
- At least five years as a Senior Project Manager delivering complex technology and business transformation in a regulated service environment
- Experience leading delivery across multiple systems, vendors, business functions and interconnected projects
- Practical experience with human-centred design, service design or co-design
- Strong project governance across scope, schedule, budget, risk, dependencies, reporting and benefits
- Enough technical fluency to coordinate architecture, integration, data, testing, cyber and business-readiness dependencies
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, facilitation and negotiation skills, including with senior leaders
- A genuine commitment to coaching others and lifting delivery capability
- A cooperative, curious approach that creates psychologically safe project environments
It would be great if you also have
- Experience in financial services, insurance or another member-based, regulated organisation
- Experience working within an enterprise portfolio or program management office
- Experience combining contemporary delivery approaches with service design and organisational change
Relevant tertiary qualifications, or equivalent professional experience, are expected. Formal project management certification is regarded favourably.
