Studio Friday is an independent creative studio founded in 2015, bringing together over 20 years of experience across design, branding, advertising and marketing.

We work with businesses across Australia and internationally, helping them with branding, websites, social media and ongoing marketing.

We’re a small team of designers, developers and marketers who enjoy working together, sharing ideas and building long-term relationships with our clients.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Social Media Coordinator who’s creative, organised and comfortable managing multiple client accounts.

You’ll be responsible for monthly content planning, writing captions, scheduling posts, coordinating with our creative team and keeping everything moving.

We already have graphic designers and video editors in place, so your focus will be on social media strategy, content planning, coordination and performance.

We’re looking for someone who understands marketing beyond just posting on social media. Someone who can bring fresh ideas, recognise opportunities and take ownership of their work.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Planning and managing monthly social media content calendars.
- Developing creative content ideas and campaign recommendations.
- Writing engaging captions and social media copy tailored to each client.
- Scheduling content across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Working with our designers and video editors to coordinate content.
- Coordinating feedback, revisions and approvals with our marketing team.
- Monitoring engagement, audience growth and campaign performance.
- Preparing monthly reports with insights and recommendations.
- Assisting with Meta advertising campaigns.
- Keeping projects organised and ensuring deadlines are met.

What We’re Looking For

Ideally, you’ll have experience in marketing and managing social media accounts for businesses,



with a good understanding of how social media fits into a broader marketing strategy.

You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, managing multiple projects and communicating with a remote team.

We’re looking for someone with:

- Proven experience managing business social media accounts.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- A good understanding of marketing strategy, audience targeting and brand positioning.
- Experience planning and scheduling content across multiple platforms.
- Confidence using Meta Business Suite and scheduling tools.
- Basic experience with Meta Ads.
- Ability to interpret analytics and recommend improvements.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines.

Bonus points if you have:

- Qualifications in marketing, communications or a related field.
- Experience working in a creative agency.
- Familiarity with ClickUp or similar project management tools.
- Photography or video capture skills.
- Confidence occasionally appearing on camera.
- Experience working with medical, healthcare or skilled services clients.

We have an established creative team and monthly content planning process in place.

You’ll work alongside our designers, video editors and marketing team, with plenty of support on the creative side.

We’re pretty straightforward in how we work. We value good communication, reliability, initiative and people who take ownership of their work.

We’re also open to new ideas and ways of improving what we do.

Location & Flexibility

We’re based in Kiama, NSW, but this is a remote position.

We’re open to part-time or contract arrangements depending on the right person.

Applicants must be based in the Wollongong, Illawarra or South Coast region.
