Role Description The Surveyor role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Brisbane Area. The Surveyor will carry out field surveys, including site measurements, boundary and construction set-outs, and topographic surveys, using modern surveying instruments and software.

Responsibilities include collecting and validating survey data, preparing plans and reports, and ensuring all work aligns with project specifications, quality standards, and relevant regulations. The role involves liaising with project managers, engineers, and clients,



resolving on-site survey queries, and contributing to effective project delivery. The Surveyor will also maintain equipment, follow safety procedures, and support continuous improvement of surveying methods and workflows.

Qualifications

- Professional surveying skills, including field data collection, boundary and construction set-out, and topographic surveys.
- Proficiency with modern surveying instruments (e.g., total stations, GNSS/GPS) and relevant surveying or CAD software.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities for interpreting plans, checking measurements, and ensuring data accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with site teams, engineers, and clients.
- Ability to work safely on-site, manage time well, and adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
- Formal qualification in Surveying or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience in the surveying industry.
- Knowledge of local standards and regulations in Queensland and a current driver’s license for site travel.
