Burpengary
Good with people. Sharp clinical judgement. Ready for something new?
A new clinic usually comes with a few unknowns. Will the rooms be ready? Will there be clients to see? At Burpengary, those boxes are already ticked.
Our purpose built Burpengary allied health centre is open, and Physiotherapy referrals are already coming in. You will work alongside Exercise Physiologists and Occupational Therapists, with administration support 5 days a week and a broader allied health team to lean on when you need it.
We're looking for a Physiotherapist who knows their craft, enjoys connecting with people and has a few ideas of their own.
The clinic is ready, but the service still has room to grow. You can help shape what comes next without having to build it all yourself.
What you'll own.
- Clinical work that matters. Assess, diagnose and treat clients across a varied caseload, using sound clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice.
- Progress you can see. Develop rehabilitation and exercise programs that help clients move with confidence, manage pain and get back to the everyday things they enjoy.
- Your clinical toolkit. Bring your skills in manual therapy, mobilisation, manipulation and active rehabilitation, knowing when each approach makes sense.
- Beyond the treatment room. Work in the centre and on local home and community visits, adapting treatment to people's goals and the realities of their day to day lives.
- Better together. Swap ideas, ask questions and work alongside Exercise Physiologists, Occupational Therapists and the wider clinical team.
- A service worth growing. Build relationships with clients and local referrers, contribute your ideas and help develop Physiotherapy services in Burpengary.
Skills get you shortlisted.
Your style gets you hired.
We like clinicians who know their stuff, share what they know and are still curious enough to ask questions. Good company matters too.
You'll probably be the person who:
- Listens first and remembers there is a person, not just a condition, on the other side of the appointment.
- Makes confident clinical decisions but is happy to ask a colleague, 'What do you think?' when another perspective would help.
- Explains the why behind treatment in a way clients can actually use.
- Brings lightness and a good laugh to a busy week, and knows when the moment calls for serious.
- Takes ownership of outcomes and follows through on commitments.
- Shares ideas, welcomes different perspectives and celebrates a colleague's good result as enthusiastically as their own.
- Spots opportunities to improve things and is willing to do something about them.
- Builds genuine relationships with clients, colleagues and local referrers.
What you'll bring.
- A recognised Physiotherapy qualification and current general registration with AHPRA.
- Sound clinical assessment, reasoning and treatment planning skills.
- Confidence working independently across clinic and community settings.
- A current driver licence for local community visits.
Experience across musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, rehabilitation, disability,
community or older person services will be highly regarded. Relevant pre employment screening, including police and NDIS screening requirements, will apply.
What's in it for you The rooms are ready, the referrals are coming in and you won't be doing it alone. There is room to try ideas, grow your skills and help shape a service you would be proud to be part of.
- A brand new, purpose built allied health centre with the doors open and rooms ready.
- Clients keen to get started with Physiotherapy, and the chance to help them get back to what matters.
- Dedicated administration support 5 days a week.
- A multidisciplinary team you can bounce ideas off, backed by a broader clinical network.
- No shift work or on call requirements.
- 2 days paid CPD leave.
- Up to $1,500 in professional development support.
- Experienced allied health colleagues who genuinely enjoy mentoring, sharing knowledge and celebrating progress.
- Employee Assistance Program, discounts and cashback offers.
Sound like your kind of role?
No smoke. No mirrors. Just real clients, a ready to go clinic and the chance to help a great service grow.
Now you see the clinic.
Now you see the opportunity.
Now you see yourself making it yours.
Apply with your CV and a cover letter telling us about a clinical case or outcome you're proud of. What did you do, and why did it matter? Please leave out any details that could identify the client.
This is a full time position, but we also welcome applications from Physiotherapists seeking part time hours.
Intrinsic Health Group welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds, ages, abilities and identities. We know that different minds make better decisions.
