Job title: Business Transformation Consultant (AI & Automation)

Working Flexibility: Hybrid, 2–3 days per week in the office

NTT DATA is looking for an experienced Business Transformation Consultant (AI & Automation) to help identify, shape and deliver practical business improvements across a large and complex enterprise setting.

This role sits at the intersection of business transformation, process improvement, AI and automation, and value realisation. You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to uncover operational pain points, identify root causes, simplify processes and determine where AI, automation or process redesign can deliver genuine value.

You will bring a strong consulting mindset, combining structured problem solving, process improvement and commercial thinking with the ability to translate opportunities into practical requirements and measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to uncover operational pain points, identify root causes and structure complex business problems.
- Facilitate process mapping and improvement workshops, applying Lean, Six Sigma and related techniques to simplify operational workflows.
- Assess and prioritise transformation opportunities based on business impact, feasibility and measurable value.
- Develop compelling business cases, define success measures and track benefits to ensure initiatives deliver meaningful value realisation.
- Evaluate where AI, RPA,



rule-based automation or process redesign is the most appropriate solution rather than applying technology for technology's sake.
- Translate improved processes into functional requirements and acceptance criteria, working closely with technology teams and reviewing solution designs.
- Partner with business, technology and change stakeholders through Agile delivery, implementation and adoption.

Skills & Experience

- Strong previous experience in business transformation, management consulting, continuous improvement, operational excellence or business process transformation within large, complex organisations.
- Demonstrated capability in Lean, Six Sigma, process mapping and operational process improvement, ideally supported by Lean Green Belt or equivalent practical knowledge.
- Strong understanding of AI-enabled workflows, RPA, rule-based automation and process automation, including the ability to determine the right approach for different business problems.
- Proven capability developing business cases, success measures, perks frameworks and value realisation models.
- Strong business analysis skills, including functional requirements, acceptance criteria, wireframes, prototypes and solution design reviews.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and consulting skills, with the confidence to facilitate workshops, challenge assumptions and influence senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Experience working with technology teams in Agile delivery environments, with familiarity using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
