We’re hiring: Applications Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Applications Manager to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of 20+ business applications and help shape how technology enables our business.

The Opportunity

Our applications support everything from Finance and People & Culture through to Operations, Growth and Customer Operations. We’re looking for someone who can take a portfolio-wide view of that environment and make sure our systems are reliable, secure, integrated and delivering value.

You’ll own the application lifecycle and work across:

- application strategy and lifecycle management
- SaaS and on-premise applications
- integrations, APIs and data flows
- vendor, licensing and contract management
- cybersecurity,



privacy and application governance
- system performance and continuous improvement
- application rationalisation and automation
- stakeholder engagement and user adoption

It’s a role with plenty of variety. One day you might be working through an integration issue or application upgrade; the next you could be reviewing a vendor renewal, simplifying a business process or helping decide whether an existing system should be improved, replaced or retired.

We’re looking for someone with around 5+ years’ experience in applications, systems administration or business systems management who is comfortable being both strategic and hands-on.

Experience across platforms such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, HubSpot, Xero/Sage Intacct, Employment Hero/KeyPay, Jira or ServiceNow would be valuable, along with a good understanding of integrations, cybersecurity, data governance and IT service management.

What will really matter is your ability to understand the business problem behind the technology, build strong relationships with users and vendors, and take genuine ownership of outcomes.
