About the opportunity

Reporting to the Reservations Manager the role of the Reservations Agent is to maximise room and rate yield at the hotel while ensuring timely responses to all reservations enquiries.

Key Duties

- Process and manage individual, group, FIT, and corporate reservations in line with hotel policies.
- Answer guest enquiries and reservation calls professionally, promptly, and courteously.
- Ensure all reservations and booking amendments are accurately processed within the same business day.
- Maintain organised reservation records and filing systems.
- Take ownership of guest enquiries, ensuring all requests are followed through to completion.
- Prepare and distribute reservation correspondence in accordance with company procedures.




- Assist with maintaining room rates and updating reservation systems as required.
- Ensure published rates and pricing policies are consistently followed.
- Identify opportunities to maximise occupancy and revenue through a positive sales-focused approach.
- Support Front Office operations during busy periods, including guest check-in and check-out assistance.

About You

- Previous experience in Reservations in a luxury resort or hotel within the hospitality industry
- Customer service experience is required with a genuine passion for guest service
- Excellent communication, cleanliness standards and attention to detail.
- A high level of personal presentation and grooming
- Available to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Can work autonomously as well as within a team.
- Has a "Can do attitude".
- Multicultural awareness and able to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Working rights in Australia.
