About the role

We are seeking a motivated person with tyre servicing, sales, transport, or related industry experience to monitor, analyse and audit the in-service performance of truck and bus tyres supplied to our fleet customers in the Brisbane and SE QLD region to ensure we continue to deliver market-leading tyre solutions.

About Freedom Tyres

The Freedom Tyre Group is a large national and privately owned tyre wholesale, manufacturing and fleet management company focussed on providing its customers with a range of safe and cost-effective tyre solutions for the truck, bus, car, and off the road markets. Our range of new and retread tyres enable Freedom to offer an efficient whole-of-life tyre solution to commercial tyre dealers and major bus and transport fleet operators across Australia.

The Opportunity

You will play a lead role in the fleet tyre monitoring, reporting and quality assurance function, working closely with Freedom Operations and Sales teams, as well as our customers. You will help maintain quality and compliance, drive continuous improvement and contribute to Freedom Tyres growth and reputation for delivering high value tyre solutions.

This full time role suits a hands-on, customer service focussed person who is comfortable working in the field to measure and collect tyre wear data as well as conducting wear analysis and generating detailed reports for internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Travel to customer sites and inspect and measure tyre wear and pressure by vehicle and position in line with agreed tyre trial plans.

- Ensure data and inspection observations are accurately recorded in our tyre performance system.

- Generate standard and customised tyre performance reports for internal and customer communications to enable benchmarking and continuous improvement.

- Monitor and report on other key quality, safety, and operational performance metrics, identifying trends and product or service improvement opportunities.





- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and other customer and company requirements.

- Support the sales team with business development opportunities and present fleet monitoring services to potential new clients.

- Provide general sales, operational, warehouse or service support as required and within skillset to ensure exceptional customer service levels are maintained.

- Act as a key point of contact for customers when on site for product and service queries.

- Undertake special projects and contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related duties as directed.

About You

We are looking for someone who brings:

- Experience in providing service and operational support in a manufacturing, production or industrial operation, preferably in the tyre, transport, automotive or a comparable safety-critical industry.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Strong ability to collect, check, analyse and maintain accurate data and reports.

- A practical, solutions‑focused approach to operational challenges.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels effectively.

- A commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

- Sound computer skills including proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.

- Experience within the tyre industry and knowledge of tyres and tyre technology may be an advantage but is not essential.
