Our Client is a long-standing concrete and structures sub-contractor based in Geelong. They currently turnover north of $10M working across major commercial build and civil infrastructure projects.

They have recently re-structured the the finance function of the business, so are looking to bring on a part-time Finance Manager/Company Accountant. Up until now they have utilised an external accountant and book keeper but are now looking to bring the financial management function in-house so are looking for a hands-on individual capable of the following duties/tasks:

- Preparing monthly financial management reports
- Management of financial obligations (leases etc)
- Liaison with project teams
- Individual job costings analysis
- Variations management/changes for each project
- Liaison with external accountant
- Management of BAS, FBT, IAS payments, payroll tax, superannuation, PAYG withholding tax and workcover




- Payroll preparation including superannuation payments
- Budget preparation and review, forecasting and cash flow reports
- Monitoring of monthly expenses

To be considered you will need formal tertiary qualifications in accountancy with a minimum of 5 years professional experience. Previous construction industry experience will be reviewed favourably. You must be BAS registered as well.
