About the role

Mandala Hospitality Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team in Horsham, VIC. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food and beverage service, ensuring consistently high standards of customer service, food quality, and operational excellence. What you'll be doing

- Supervising and coordinating the activities of food and beverage staff during service, ensuring productive workflow and adherence to company standards

- Training, mentoring, and developing waiting and bar staff to deliver outstanding customer service and product knowledge

- Monitoring food and beverage quality, presentation, and portion control to maintain consistency across all services

- Managing table assignments, customer seating arrangements, and ensuring smooth coordination between front-of-house and kitchen operations

- Responding promptly to guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests, resolving issues professionally and courteously

- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, food handling standards, and company policies

- Assisting with inventory management, stock rotation, and reporting on food and beverage usage

- Supporting the management team with scheduling, payroll administration, and operational reporting

- Maintaining a clean, welcoming,



and well-organised dining environment at all times

- Contributing to promotional activities and special events, ensuring seamless execution and guest satisfaction

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in a food and beverage supervisory or senior waiting staff role within a hospitality establishment

- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, menu offerings, and drink pairings

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and support team members

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail

- Customer service excellence with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences

- Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and food handling practices

- Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer literacy

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required

- Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification or willingness to obtain it

- Preferred: Experience in a fine dining or premium hospitality environment
