About the role

We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused, and hands-on team member to join our Battery World Auburn store. This role involves over-the-counter retail sales, face-to-face customer service, and hands-on battery testing, fitting, and technical support.

Key responsibilities

- Provide expert advice and excellent customer service to retail and commercial clients.

- Perform battery testing, diagnosis, and installations (automotive, auxiliary, and deep-cycle systems).

- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle daily store transactions safely.

- Maintain stock presentation, inventory organization, and general store tidiness.

- Work independently and as part of a close-knit team.

About you

- Previous experience in retail sales, automotive, batteries, customer service, or technical roles is preferred.

- Punctual, reliable, and physically fit (comfortable lifting heavy items).

- Mechanically minded with a willingness to learn technical testing equipment.

- Valid Australian driver's licence is required.

- Robust communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to top-tier customer service.
