Zenith is partnering with a leading building contractor to find a People & Culture professional for a 6 month contract in Brisbane.

This is a busy, hands-on role in a team that needs someone who can hit the ground running. You’ll be the person who keeps training moving across the business, working closely with project teams and leaders to make sure their people are inducted, trained and ready to work. If you like variety, enjoy being the go-to person and get satisfaction from bringing order to a busy workload, you’ll do well here.

What you’ll be doing

- Managing training requests from across the business and making sure nothing falls through the cracks

- Scheduling and coordinating training sessions across projects and teams

- Meeting with project and business stakeholders to understand their induction needs and turn them into explicit requirements

- Consolidating and organising training information in SharePoint so it’s easy for the business to find and use

- Building strong working relationships with site and office teams alike

What they’re looking for

- Experience in L&D;, P&C; or training coordination

- Construction experience is ideal.



If you haven’t worked in construction but have supported a business with multiple sites or operating companies, you’ll be well placed

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities

- Confidence dealing with stakeholders at all levels, from site crews to senior leaders

- A practical, get-it-done attitude

- Availability now or within a week or two

The team is open on level. They’ll consider hands-on Coordinators, Advisors, and Training Managers who are happy to roll their sleeves up, particularly anyone who has worked with blue collar trainees and apprentices.
