About the Role:
As the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Manager, you will lead accreditation and rankings activities for the Faculty of Business and Law (FBL), while contributing to academic quality assurance outcomes in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. You will help ensure the Faculty’s courses meet University, regulatory and accreditation standards and deliver consistent academic quality across Perth, global campuses and international education partners.

Working closely with senior Faculty leaders, you will contribute to the implementation of Curtin’s Quality Assurance Framework, manage accreditation reporting and reviews, and use data to guide improvements and rankings strategies. You will also lead staff and provide expert advice to help schools and partners understand and meet their accreditation and quality obligations.
You will be supported by an approachable and team-oriented leadership team, providing guidance and support to help you succeed in the role.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Lead accreditation: Manage the Faculty’s accreditation portfolio, including annual and periodic reporting, major submissions, peer reviews and relationships with accreditation bodies AACSB and EFMD.
- Oversee academic quality: Implement Curtin’s Quality Assurance Framework, coordinate course evaluation and reporting, and support compliance with accreditation standards, TEQSA requirements, the ESOS Act and University policies.
- Support consistent international delivery: Work with Faculty leaders, global campuses and education partners to monitor international program outcomes and maintain standards comparable with Perth-based courses.
- Review staff qualification requirements:

Oversee reviews of onshore and offshore academic appointments against TEQSA and AACSB faculty qualification requirements.
- Drive planning and improvement: Identify and scope accreditation, quality assurance and rankings projects; develop business cases and implementation plans; and coordinate delivery with stakeholders.
- Manage rankings activities: Lead course and business school rankings strategies, coordinate data and reputation contacts, assure submission quality, and analyse and report results.
- Provide expert advice and reporting: Advise senior leaders, schools and partners on accreditation and quality requirements, ensure reporting data is accurate, and report outcomes to Faculty leadership and the Advisory Council.
- Lead people and collaboration: Manage recruitment, induction, work priorities and staff development; collaborate across University teams; and represent the Deans of Learning and Teaching and International on relevant committees as required.

Who we are looking for:
You will bring a collaborative approach, sound judgement and the ability to turn complex requirements into clear advice and practical improvements. You will be confident managing competing priorities and building effective relationships with senior leaders, academic teams and international partners.
Demonstrated knowledge of the Australian higher education system and the current issues affecting the sector, along with knowledge of business school accreditation standards and quality assurance frameworks, will be highly regarded.

Role Requirements:

1. As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered
2. Successful applicants are subject to a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin’s satisfaction
3. Interstate and overseas travel may be required, along with the ability to work outside normal office hours when required.
