Catering Assistant | Ashwood, VIC | Part-Time - 12 to 15 Hours Per Week

Cater Care is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our friendly team at an aged care residence in Ashwood.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on kitchen environment, takes pride in delivering quality food and service, and wants to be part of a supportive team.

Your Responsibilities

- Preparing and assembling food, including salads, sandwiches and texture-modified meals
- Maintaining excellent food presentation and customer service standards
- Replenishing food and kitchen supplies before, during and after service
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen and dining areas
- Performing dishwashing and general kitchen duties
- Setting tables and assisting with meal distribution

About You





- Previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service
- Experience in contract catering or aged care (desirable, but not essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A team-focused attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A current Flu Vaccination and National Criminal History Check, or willingness to obtain these
