AudioHearing Melbourne is looking for an enthusiastic, confident and people-focused Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing team across our South Yarra and Brighton clinics.

This is more than a traditional reception role.

We are looking for someone who can build trust, have meaningful conversations with patients, confidently address questions and concerns, and help people take the first step towards better hearing.

The Role

You will play an important part in the patient journey, helping ensure every patient feels welcome, understood and confident about taking the next step.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building rapport with patients, particularly over the phone.

• Understanding patient needs and explaining our services.

• Communicating the value of a hearing assessment.

• Confidently handling questions, concerns and objections.

• Converting enquiries into confirmed appointments and following up appropriately.

• Building positive patient relationships and supporting an excellent patient experience.

• Working closely with our audiologists and supporting clinic operations.

Your personality,



attitude and ability to connect with people are more key than your previous job title.

You may have experience in healthcare, customer service, hospitality, sales, reception or another people-focused role.

Ideally, you will be:

• Warm, confident and naturally engaging.

• An excellent communicator, both face-to-face and over the phone.

• Persuasive without being pushy.

• Comfortable discussing healthcare services and fees.

• Organised, proactive and reliable.

• Confident handling questions and difficult conversations.

• Motivated by achieving results and helping people.

• Interested in developing a long-term career.

• Flexible to work across our South Yarra and Brighton clinics.

Position Details

• Position: Patient Care Coordinator

• Employment: Full-time or Part-time

• Salary: $65,000–$72,000 + Super + Performance incentives (pro rata for part-time)

• Start: Negotiable
