We’re looking for a qualified hairdresser to join the Beauty and Wellness team at an aged care provider in the Southern Highlands. One resident might want to try a new colour, while another knows exactly how they like their weekly shampoo and set. You’ll get to know what works for each person and help them leave the chair feeling good.

A day in the salon

- Cut, colour, blow-dry and style hair, including traditional shampoo and sets.
- Listen to what each resident wants and adapt your service to their comfort and preferences.
- Look after bookings, walk-ins, payments and salon supplies.
- Keep the salon clean and welcoming, and work with the care team when residents need a hand during their visits.

What makes you a good fit for the salon





- A Certificate III in Hairdressing or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Hairdressing experience in a salon, community or aged care setting.
- A friendly, patient approach and an easy rapport with older people.
- Confidence managing your own appointments and following salon hygiene and infection control practices.
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check.
