Purpose of the Role

Minimum 18 months' experience in the skin or beauty industry is required.

We are looking for a passionate, motivated and client-focused Dermal/Skin Therapist who takes pride in delivering exceptional results and creating a welcoming experience for every client.

The successful candidate will play an important role in the day-to-day operations of Cosmedic Lab, providing high-quality skin treatments, personalised consultations and recommendations while building strong, lasting relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Client Experience & Consultations

- Conduct thorough skin consultations to understand client concerns, goals and treatment needs.
- Develop personalised treatment plans and recommend suitable treatments and homecare routines.
- Build genuine, lasting relationships with clients through exceptional service and care.
- Provide professional pre- and post-treatment advice and ongoing support.
- Handle client enquiries and concerns with warmth, confidence and professionalism.
- Go above and beyond to ensure every client feels welcomed, valued and looked after.

Skin Treatments & Services

- Perform a range of advanced skin treatments, including:
- Hydrafacials
- Chemical peels
- Skin needling
- RF skin tightening
- RF skin needling
- LED therapy
- Other advanced dermal and skin treatments.
- Maintain a strong understanding of skin health, treatment protocols and industry advancements.
- Attend ongoing training and professional development opportunities to continually build your skills and knowledge.

Retail & Business Development

- Confidently recommend professional skincare products suited to individual client needs.
- Work towards retail and treatment targets while maintaining an education-first,



client-focused approach.
- Help grow and retain the clinic's client base through strong relationships, referrals and local business connections.
- Assist with the clinic's online presence and social media content where required.

Clinic Operations & Teamwork

- Assist with reception duties, appointment management and general administration.
- Maintain a clean, organised and qualified treatment environment in line with health and safety requirements.
- Work collaboratively with our team of nurses, dermal therapists and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.
- Assist with general housekeeping and daily clinic operations.
- Present yourself professionally and contribute positively to the clinic culture.

Training & Development

At Cosmedic Lab, we believe in investing in our team. You will receive comprehensive training across our retail skincare range and the treatments we offer, with ongoing education and support from some of the industry's leading professionals.

We are passionate about helping our team grow, develop their skills and continue to advance their careers within the aesthetics and skin industry.

Experience in waxing, brow and lash treatments would be an advantage but is not essential.

Additional Responsibilities

The responsibilities outlined above are not exhaustive. You may be required to undertake additional duties, including skin and dermal treatments, administration and general clinic support, as reasonably required to meet the needs and objectives of the business.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $50,381.80 per hour
