We're putting together a crew for a large commercial re-roofing and re-cladding job in Portsmith, starting in January and running through to mid 2027.
We need
- 2 experienced roofers / roof plumbers: metal roof sheeting, flashings, box gutters, cyclone fixing
- 3 roofing labourers / trade assistants: stripping, handling sheets, safety mesh and insulation, site clean-up
You need
- White Card and working at heights
- An EWP ticket is a bonus
- Reliable, with your own transport to Portsmith
- Comfortable working at height in the Cairns wet season
What you get
- Full time work, 10-hour days Monday to Friday
- Roofers $130,000 a year, labourers $96,200 a year, plus super (based on a 50-hour week)
- A second crew starts in late January, so there's room for good people to stay on
- The possibility of more work after this on our McLeod St project in Cairns North through 2027
