Welcome to Walcha Council
Walcha Council, small Council, big opportunities.
We're a small regional council with a big geographic footprint and a strong sense of who we are. What sets us apart is how we work as much as what we deliver. Our staff regularly go beyond what's expected, whether that's delivering wraparound services across every stage of life or taking care of the small, practical things that matter to people. We're a place where people step in, take ownership and get things done.
We're also a council on the move. Several senior leaders have joined us in the past 6 to 12 months with a clear mandate to strengthen capability, modernise systems and lift how we operate and present ourselves. We're not standing still, and you'll be part of shaping what comes next.
