Are you a reliable and dedicated cleaner looking to make a difference? Austral Facility Services (AFS) are hiring casual cleaners in Torres Strait to work in a not-for-profit Thursday Island boarding house, helping maintain a clean and welcoming environment for students and staff.

About the Role:

- Casual position .
- General roster of 3-4-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday.
- Cleaning and laundry duties, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Hourly pay rates with potential for above-award rates depending on experience.
- All on the job training and products will be provided.

What You’ll Need:

- Ability to obtain National Police Check and a valid Working with Children Check prior to starting work on site.
- Physical fitness for hands-on cleaning and laundry tasks.
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleaning.




- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable and punctual, with a proactive approach to work.
- Prior experience in a school or similar environment is preferred.
