An established, family-owned SAbuilder is looking for an experienced Residential Draftsperson to join its close-knit drafting team.

The Role

- Join a team of drafters, working closely with a Team Leader and reporting to the Drafting Manager.
- Use CAD to produce drawings across a mix of volume and custom-designed homes.
- Work predominantly on volume residential projects (averaging around 320m²), with the opportunity to take on custom homes drawn from scratch.
- Share your knowledge and experience, with the opportunity to mentor and support more junior team members.
- Work closely with the wider team to ensure designs are practical, considered and ready for construction.

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years' residential drafting experience, ideally within a volume building environment.




- Strong proficiency in CAD drafting software.
- A good eye for detail and pride in producing accurate, quality documentation.
- Someone who enjoys being part of a team, communicates well and is happy to roll up their sleeves.
- An adaptable personality who'll fit comfortably into a young, energetic team.
- Previous mentoring experience or an interest in stepping into a leadership role would be a bonus.
