JAAS Property Group is seeking an experienced, motivated and qualified Property Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated real estate professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional property management services and building robust client relationships.
About the role
As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a residential property portfolio across Brisbane’s south side and Ipswich, ensuring properties are well maintained, tenants are supported and landlords receive outstanding service.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of residential properties
- Conduct routine inspections and property condition reports
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs with contractors and tradespeople
- Manage tenant enquiries, lease renewals, rent reviews and vacates
- Handle arrears management and rental collections
- Prepare and maintain accurate property records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including RTA requirements
- Attend QCAT hearings and represent landlords when required
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords,
tenants and service providers
- Resolve conflicts professionally and efficiently
- Deliver exceptional customer service and communication at all times
Essential requirements
- Previous experience as a Property Manager managing your own portfolio
- Strong knowledge and experience with QCAT and RTA legislation and procedures
- Current Real Estate Registration Certificate or Real Estate Licence
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong relationship-building abilities
- High level of organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
- Proficient computer skills and experience with property management software
- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
