Job Description

The Leading Hand is responsible for supervising and coordinating tradespeople on-site, ensuring that work is carried out efficiently, safely, and to the required quality standards. This role provides hands-on leadership, supporting the site team in maintaining smooth construction operations while enforcing safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

Desired Skills and Experience

- Trade qualification in a relevant field (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, electrical) or significant experience (3 years+) in construction supervision.




- Robust leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work hands-on and lead by example.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and quality standards in construction.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans.
- Demonstrates a consistent track record of upholding Dasco’s core values of excellence, respect, partnership, reliability, and safety in all aspects of work, with a proactive approach to applying these principles in day-to-day responsibilities
