Have you ever looked at a bank reconciliation and thought, "This could be better"?
Do dashboards spark joy?
Can you translate transactional data, bank account information, work a banking relationship at the transactional level, deal with expectations, survive audit scrutiny with your sense of humour still intact, and also manage the impacts of whole-of-government priorities.
If so, congratulations. We have been looking for you.
Shared Services Finance is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Director to lead our business intelligence and banking operations functions. This is a unique opportunity to combine strategic leadership with operational impact, driving how the Territory manages and uses financial information while ensuring the secure and effective operation of its banking operations activities.

- Strong commercial, analytical and strategic capabilities.
- Experience leading organisational transformation and service modernisation initiatives.

- A pitch of no more than two pages that tells the selection committee about your ability to perform the duties of the advertised role. The pitch should demonstrate that you possess the capabilities detailed in the 'QUALIFICATIONS/ELIGIBILITY/REQUIREMENTS' section of the Position Description; and
- Your curriculum vitae and the name and contact information for two referees.
Applications should be submitted .
Note: Under the ACTPS employment framework you may be placed in another role where required for the efficient administration of the service.
The ACT public service is committed to closing the gap, underpinned by the belief that when Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have a genuine say in the design and delivery of policies, programs and services that affect them, better life outcomes are achieved.
