Giglio's Fresh Chickens is looking for an experienced and motivated Poultry Factory Supervisor to join our team as Second-in-Charge (2IC).

We operate a poultry processing business employing approximately 20 staff and processing around 11,000 chickens over two production days.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical poultry processing experience who wants to take on a leadership role and work directly alongside the business owner.

Key responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate factory employees.
- Organise daily production and workflow/Time Management.
- Oversee evisceration, cutting, filleting and portioning.
- Monitor packing and dispatch operations.
- Maintain product quality and production yields.
- Monitor wastage and production efficiency.
- Ensure hygiene, cleaning and food safety standards.
- Assist with staff training and performance.
- Identify and resolve everyday production problems.
- Forklift License

What we are looking for

- Previous hands-on experience in poultry processing.
- Knowledge of chicken evisceration and processing.
- Experience in cutting,



portioning and packing.
- Previous staff supervision experience.
- Understanding of HACCP and food safety.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Reliable, organised and practical approach.
- Ability to work alongside the owner and share daily responsibilities.
