IBWTECH Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Developer Programmer to join its technology team in Sydney, NSW.

The company is looking for a capable software development professional who can contribute to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software applications and technology solutions.

The successful applicant will work on software development projects, translating business and technical requirements into reliable, efficient and maintainable applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into functional software solutions.
- Design, develop, modify and maintain software applications and computer programs.
- Write efficient, structured and maintainable code using Java, Python and JavaScript.
- Develop and maintain application components, APIs and software integrations.
- Design, query and maintain relational databases using SQL.
- Conduct software testing, debugging and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Investigate software defects and implement appropriate corrective measures.
- Review existing software applications and recommend improvements to performance, functionality and reliability.
- Participate in software implementation, deployment and ongoing maintenance activities.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, programming specifications and development records.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical team members to deliver software development outcomes.

Essential Skills and Experience





Applicants must demonstrate:

- A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in software development or programming.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Practical programming experience with Java, Python and JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database management.
- Experience in software application development, testing and debugging.
- Understanding of software development methodologies, programming principles and application architecture.
- Ability to analyse technical requirements and develop appropriate software solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team.

Remuneration and Employment Benefits

- Annual base salary between AUD $90,000 and AUD $110,000, depending on qualifications, skills and relevant experience.
- Superannuation paid in addition to the advertised salary.
- Full-time, permanent employment.
