We’re seeking parcel delivery subcontractors for routes across Sydney, with occasional work in Wollongong. This suits owner-drivers, existing delivery businesses and applicants ready to establish their own delivery operation.

Seven-day route coverage is required

Your business must provide coverage for each allocated route seven days a week, including weekends.

This does not mean you personally need to drive every day. You are responsible for arranging suitable drivers and vehicle coverage so the route is covered throughout the week. Please apply if you can provide this coverage now or arrange it before starting.

Opportunity to expand

Start with one allocated route and establish your operation. As your business develops, there may be opportunities to take on additional routes and expand your team and vehicles.

Additional routes depend on availability, delivery performance and your capacity to maintain reliable seven-day coverage.

Van requirements

- Your own delivery van is preferred.
- Rented or leased vans are also welcome.
- Rental assistance may be available to suitable applicants, with costs and conditions explained before agreement.

Payment and operating costs

You receive payment per package successfully delivered. A fixed weekly fee is payable by your business for each allocated route.

Package rates, weekly route fees, what the fees cover and your operating responsibilities will be explained before you enter into an agreement. Your net earnings depend on completed deliveries and the fees and operating costs you incur.

The work





Collect and organise parcels, deliver to homes and businesses, follow delivery instructions and record deliveries using the required apps.

The work involves driving, regular walking, stairs and parcel handling. Reliable coverage, safe driving and qualified customer service are essential.

What you’ll need

- An active ABN, or willingness to establish one before starting.
- Access to a suitable delivery van, or arrangements to obtain one.
- A current full Australian driver licence if you will be driving.
- Australian work rights suitable for the work.
- Ability to arrange drivers and vehicle coverage for a seven-day operation.
- Willingness to complete the required licence, work-rights and background checks.

Previous courier or parcel delivery experience is helpful, but applicants new to the industry may also apply.
