Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Shop Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our store. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional operational skills, a proven track record in sales, and outstanding customer service abilities. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive sales growth, manage a team effectively, and ensure a superior shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and profitability.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to avoid shortages and overstock situations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment.
- Manage budgets, control expenses, and optimize resource allocation.

2. Sales and Business Development:

- Set and achieve sales targets, analyzing sales figures to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies and promotional activities to drive revenue.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favourable terms and pricing.

3. Team Leadership and Development:

- Recruit, train,



and mentor a team of sales, production and design team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team.
- Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional sales and customer service skills.

4. Customer Service Excellence:

- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing a welcoming and engaging shopping experience.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Implement customer loyalty programs and initiatives to enhance customer retention.
- Continuously seek ways to improve the customer experience and address any service gaps.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Shop Manager or in a similar retail management role.
- Strong operational and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Exceptional sales skills, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service.
- Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in retail management software and MS Office.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
