Fratelli are moving in the direction to construct council project and public spaces, This role will primarily be based around searching and tendering for project in this space.

As a Civil Engineer/Estimator, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the construction from tender stage to construction stage such as:

- Manage and review tender requests
- Review and measure plans/drawings and complete take-offs and bill of quantities to estimate project costs
- Review and analyse technical drawings/plans, scopes, and specifications for projects
- Determine construction method and plan the construction programme to properly organise materials, plant and equipment, and manpower/site labour.
- Issue subcontract agreements and coordinate execution of site activities with subcontractors
- Prepare, review, and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Maintain accurate records of all contract-related documents and correspondence




- Supplier management including qualification and coordination for pricing
- Liaise with clients and management of expectations
- Prepare tender submissions and ensure deadlines are met
- Monitor design/drawing/specification changes, evaluate/measure and draft variation orders
- Attend site meetings for current projects and clients
- Scan and search tender opportunities
- Make recommendations and assist Senior Management to improve processes and efficiencies across the division and organisation are identified
- Development/Management of business estimating templates and databases
- Be the authoritative contact for all matters relating to the project
- Communicate with Senior Leadership team openly and as soon as any issues arise
- Reporting to the Directors

Experience and Skills Required:

- Tertiary qualifications preferred
- Tendering for council projects and public spaces is ideal
- Over 5 years’ experience in a similar role is essential (Construction, Civil and

Landscaping Estimators experience)

- Advanced technical knowledge of landscape and/or civil construction methodology, materials etc.
- Competent and confident to use Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel, PDF, Project etc.
- Reliable transportation
- Workcover White Card
- Fluent written and verbal English ability
- Excellent interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
