Disability Support Worker – Carrum Downs (Subcontractor / ABN)

We're looking for an experienced female support worker to work with one of our participants in Carrum Downs. It's one shift a week to start, ongoing, with the day and time to be locked in with the right person.

About the participant

He has autism and is keen to get more on top of things at home and in his day-to-day life. He loves music, enjoys getting out into the community, and does best with someone who is calm, clear and happy to take the lead. He has asked for a female support worker.

What the shifts look like

- Getting out and about – shops, outings, activities he enjoys
- Helping him organise his home and set up routines that actually stick
- Supporting him with daily tasks like cleaning, shopping and planning his week
- Giving explicit, direct guidance while still letting him have a say
- Building his confidence and independence over time

Who we're after

- Solid hands-on experience supporting people with autism (ASD)
- Calm and steady, even when things don't go to plan




- Confident taking charge – you can set structure and keep things moving
- Organised yourself, so you can help him get organised
- Reliable – the same face each week matters a lot here
- Into music? Even better.

You'll need

- ABN (subcontractor role)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Cert III or IV in Individual Support / Disability, or strong equivalent experience
- Driver's licence and your own insured car

Pay

$40 per hour on weekdays. Weekend shifts are paid at a higher rate.
