HomeCare Australia is seeking experienced, compassionate and reliable Aged Care Support Workers to join our casual relief team.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for support workers who can provide relief when our regular team members are unavailable due to annual leave, illness or other absences.

This is an ad hoc, on-call casual position. Regular or guaranteed weekly hours will become available as we continue to grow.

Shifts will be offered as required, based on client needs, worker availability and location.

This opportunity may suit experienced support workers who:

- Already work in aged care and would like occasional additional shifts.
- Have other employment or personal commitments and want flexibility.
- Are happy to accept short notice shifts when available.
- Enjoy supporting older people but do not want a fixed weekly roster.

You are free to accept or decline shifts based on your availability.

Your Responsibilities

Depending on client needs, services may include:

- Personal care, including showering, dressing and grooming.
- Domestic assistance and general household cleaning.
- Meal preparation and assistance with daily living.
- Social support and companionship.
- Community access and assistance with appointments.
- Respite support for family carers.




- Supporting clients to maintain their independence, dignity and wellbeing.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking people who are dependable, respectful and genuinely passionate about providing quality aged care.

Applicants must have:

- Previous experience providing in-home aged care support.
- Cert III in aged care or individual support
- Current National Police Check.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Current driver's licence.
- Reliable, registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- Working With Children Check, where required.
- Positive communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to accept occasional shifts, including at short notice.

Relevant aged care or individual support qualifications are highly regarded.
