We're a Cairns engineering and construction business with a large commercial re-roofing and re-cladding job in Portsmith running through to mid 2027. We need a full-time Site Foreman to run it on site, starting as soon as possible and no later than early January.
The job
- Run a crew of four day to day: strip, re-sheet, re-screw, flashings, box gutters
- Site paperwork: SWMS, prestarts, ITPs, daily diaries
- Deliveries, subcontractors on site, and daily contact with the client's site rep
You need
- A QBCC licence. Roof and wall cladding preferred, or a builder or site supervisor licence
- Commercial roofing experience, ideally on industrial or depot sites
- White Card, working at heights, and an EWP ticket (or willing to get one)
- A Cairns base
What you get
- Full time employment, 10-hour days Monday to Friday
- $145,000 a year plus super
- A $150 a week fuel allowance on a company fuel card
- A small, straight-talking team, with the possibility of more work after this on our McLeod St project in Cairns North (2027)
