We're seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to support a 62-year-old male participant living with a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in the Grenfell/Cowra region, NSW.

About the Role
We are currently recruiting Disability Support Workers to provide consistent support across the Grenfell/Cowra region.

The successful candidates will assist a 62-year-old male participant with a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), providing person-centred support across a variety of daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Supporting community access and social participation
- Assisting with household management tasks
- Providing domestic assistance
- Offering standby assistance with selected personal care activities
- Supporting independence while ensuring participant safety and wellbeing
- Maintaining accurate documentation and communication with the wider support team

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Experience working in the disability sector
- A person-centred approach to support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and build positive rapport with participants
- Flexibility to work shifts of up to 8 hours per day

Highly Desirable
- Experience supporting individuals with Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI) or Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI)
- Experience supporting community participation and independent living skills

Essential Requirements

- Availability to provide consistent coverage of approximately 36 hours per week
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Reliable and comprehensively insured vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Australian working rights
