About the role
We’re looking for female support workers to assist NDIS participants with personal care, hygiene, mobility and transfers, while promoting independence and wellbeing. Regular, ongoing weekly shifts are available.

Shifts available

- Mon: 3:45–7:45pm
- Tue: 12–2pm, 12–3pm, 3–8pm
- Thu: 10am–3pm, 11:30am–2pm, 3–8pm, 6:15–9pm, 8–10pm + sleepover
- Fri: 3:45–8pm, 5–9pm, 6:15–9pm, 8–10pm + sleepover
- Sat: 10:15am–2pm, 6:15–9pm
- Sun: 10:15am–2pm

Positive to know

- Multiple shifts and travel: You can pick up more than one shift a day. Shifts may be with different participants at our two Riverstone sites, which are about 3 minutes apart. Travel between sites is paid.
- Breaks between shifts: A gap of up to 1 hour is an unpaid meal break. Longer gaps attract a broken shift allowance under the SCHADS Award.
- Sleepovers: These are inactive. You sleep on site and are only woken if a participant needs help.



You’ll receive a $65 allowance per night, plus your hourly rate for any time you’re woken. Each sleepover is paired with a 2-hour shift (8–10pm or 6–8am).
- Weekend-only availability is welcome.

Requirements

- Experience using mechanical lifters and slide sheets
- Full driver’s licence and reliable car
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and First Aid/CPR (or willing to obtain)
- Comfortable using a smartphone app (Connecteam) for shift notes
- Experience with spinal cord injury, bowel care or catheter care is highly regarded. Training and competency sign-off are provided.
