Redcape Hospitality is looking for a casual Bottle Shop Attendant to join Prince Cellars Bottle-O at The Prince Consort in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley. The Valley moves fast and the crowd is as varied as they come, so we want an experienced liquor retail pro who is calm, confident and sharp on responsible service. Back yourself to work independently and keep the store running, and you’ll fit right in.

Availability over Christmas and New Year’s Eve is essential.

What you’ll do

- Welcome customers, recommend products and build rapport with regulars
- Process sales and handle cash accurately
- Open and close the store, following store procedures
- Assist with deliveries, stock rotation and replenishing shelves and fridges
- Keep the store and stock areas clean, organised and well presented
- Follow responsible service of alcohol and safe manual handling procedures

What you’ll bring

- At least one year of experience in a bottle shop
- A current QLD RSA,



and the skills to apply it calmly under pressure
- A confident, well-spoken communicator with a passion for sales and a feel for the Valley crowd
- Self-motivated and reliable, happy to work proactively and get the job done
- Comfort with regular lifting and carrying, and availability on delivery days
- Availability to work until midnight across weekdays, weekends and public holidays
