Otti is a modern, vibrant all-day dining venue located in the heart of South Brisbane. We serve a freshly curated All-Day Menu spanning breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We are entering an exciting new chapter and are heavily investing in our workplace culture. We are looking for motivated Cooks and Commis Chefs—including hospitality students—who want to be part of a respectful, professional, and tightly-knit team where open communication, mutual support, and a positive attitude are non-negotiable.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare, prep, and cook elements of our All-Day Menu with high standards and consistency.
- Support the kitchen line during high-volume breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.
- Maintain strict standards of cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen organization at your station.
- Contribute to general kitchen cleanliness, including end-of-shift pack downs, deep cleaning, and assisting with dishwashing when required.
- Communicate professionally and calmly on the line during busy rushes.
- Work collaboratively with both the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure a smooth, drama-free service.

About you

- Recent commercial kitchen experience as a Cook or Commis Chef.




- Breakfast service experience is highly valued and a massive plus.
- Certificate III / IV in Commercial Cookery (completed or currently studying) is highly regarded.
- Keen to learn, take direction well, and maintain a excellent attitude under pressure.
- A reliable team player who values a clean, respectful, and organized working environment.
- Must hold a valid Food Safety Certificate OR be willing to obtain it immediately upon hire.
- Valid Australian working rights (Student Visa holders with work rights are welcome to apply!).

Pay: $50,000.00 – $79,000.00 per year
