Kotzur is seeking a capable, detail-oriented draftsperson to join our Storage and Projects Design Team, delivering accurate, practical and build-ready designs for customer projects.

Based at our Walla Walla NSW site (approximately 30 minutes from Albury), you’ll join a supportive, experienced design team in a stable, hands-on regional role.

Help design bulk solids storage and handling systems for agricultural, commercial storage and handling, feedlot, mining and plastics projects, including light fabrication, civil and structural components.

About the role

Reporting to the Team Leader: Storage and Projects, you will turn concepts into detailed designs, layouts, shop floor drawings, bills of materials (BOMs) and documentation for manufacture and installation within the Storage and Projects Team.

What you'll be doing

- Using Inventor, AutoCAD and related systems to produce build-ready designs, layouts, shop floor drawings and BOMs from concepts, supporting manufacturing, project delivery and installation

- Maintaining design records and version control, checking drawings and following Design Team office protocols

- Collaborating with designers, engineers, project managers and production teams to meet design intent

- Ensuring designs are functional, safe and compliant with relevant standards, Kotzur requirements and Safety in Design principles

What you’ll bring

- 2+ years’ drafting or design support experience in manufacturing, construction or a related industry

- A Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting, trade qualification,



relevant software training, or equivalent demonstrated drafting capability

- Working knowledge of Inventor and AutoCAD, with Vault and M1 experience desirable

- Mechanical aptitude and an understanding of manufacturing methods, fabrication processes, materials and practical design requirements

- Accurate detailing, BOM preparation and drawing checks, with a strong focus on safety and standards

- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders
