Join the team at AES Jindalee, where you will be surrounded by a supportive and skilled group of Veterinarians, Nurses and Client Care team.
Been in general practice for a while and wondered what life is like on the dark side? Or maybe you’re simply looking for the best team to learn and grow with? Animal Emergency Australia is looking for an Emergency and Critical Care Veterinarian to join us on a permanent part-time basis, 80-120 hours per month.
About the role:
- Part-time hours (80-120 hours a month)
- Shifts are rostered for a max of 9 hours
- Competitive wage
- A mix of emergency and critical care cases that keeps every shift compelling
- A team that backs you up, whether you’re an experienced ECC vet or curious about making the move from GP
Why you’ll love it here:
- Management who genuinely care. Our leadership team listens, supports you and actually looks out for your wellbeing.
- An amazingly talented team. You’ll work alongside skilled, passionate vets who share their knowledge and celebrate the wins (and debrief the tough ones together).
- Superstar nurses and Client care.
Our nursing and client care teams are second to none, and they’ll have your back every shift.
- Continued learning. We encourage and support your professional development, so you’ll keep building your skills and confidence.
- Real variety. No two shifts are the same, and you’ll see everything from a routine itchy skin case to the “you won’t believe what this dog ate.”
- A great culture. We work hard, look after each other and always make time for a laugh (and a snack).
Who we’re after:
- A registered veterinarian (experienced GP vet welcome, ECC experience desirable)
- A night owl who thrives on evening and overnight shifts
- Someone who thrives in the chaos of emergency and stays calm when things get busy
- A great sense of humour
- A curious mind who’s always keen to learn
- A love of teamwork and a genuine passion for patient care
If you’re ready to see what the dark side has to offer (we always have snacks in the cupboard), we’d love to hear from you.
