CHEF WANTED – MR BARTOLO CAFÉ, RICHMOND

Mr Bartolo Café on Bridge Road, Richmond, is looking for a reliable and passionate chef to join our team.

About the role:

- Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch dishes consistently to a high standard.
- Manage prep and keep service running smoothly during busy periods.
- Maintain food presentation, portion sizes and quality.
- Monitor stock, assist with ordering and minimise waste.
- Follow food safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised kitchen.
- Work closely with the front-of-house team.
- Contribute ideas for specials and menu development.

About you:

- Previous experience as a chef in a busy café.
- Confident cooking breakfast and lunch dishes.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, organised and calm under pressure.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and food quality.
- Available for early starts and weekend shifts.

Pay: $34.00 – $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 per week
