Floor Team Member – Bloc145, Redfern

We're looking for someone to join our team at Bloc145, our café in Redfern.

Skills & language

- Valuable English is a must
- Speaking Mandarin would be a big plus, because lots of our guests do too
- Able to run the floor

The job is pretty varied. You'll greet guests, take orders, seat people, walk them through the menu and recommend dishes (not just carry plates). You'll also serve food and make cold drinks like smoothies, iced tea, iced coffee and some juices. We keep adding new dishes, so you need to be keen to learn the food and menu so you can recommend things properly.

We're a small team and we work hard together. If you just want to clock in, take the money and go home, this probably isn't the job for you.



But if you want to be part of a team and put in real effort, we'd love to meet you.

We like people who care about the details. If you're sloppy or rush through things, we're not the right fit for each other.

There's a pathway to full time for the right person, but we'll start by seeing what you can do first.
