BP Floors is looking for an organized, detail-focused Flooring Estimator to help price and plan our flooring projects. You’ll work with clients, builders, suppliers and installers to prepare accurate quotes and ensure each project has a explicit scope of work.

Key responsibilities

- Read plans, specifications and tender documents to identify flooring requirements.
- Attend site visits to measure areas and assess access, existing flooring and subfloor conditions.
- Prepare material take-offs, allowing for wastage, floor preparation, trims and accessories.
- Calculate material, labor and other project costs to produce accurate, competitive quotes.
- Obtain supplier pricing and confirm product availability and lead times.
- Clearly identify inclusions, exclusions and any assumptions within quotes.
- Follow up quotes and respond to client enquiries.
- Update estimates when project requirements change and prepare pricing for variations.
- Coordinate with the installation team to hand over measurements, quantities and project requirements.




- Maintain accurate estimating records and current pricing.

About you

- At least a Diploma in Building; Building and Construction Estimating; Quantity Surveying; Construction Management and Economics; or Building and Construction (Building) is requested OR at least 3 years of work experience in the industry in the role or related
- A sound understanding of flooring products, installation methods and subfloor preparation.
- Ability to read building plans and take accurate measurements.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Confident using Excel and estimating or take-off software.
- Clear communication skills and a professional approach with clients and suppliers.
- Ability to manage several quotes and meet deadlines.
- A current driver’s license for site visits.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
