Seeking a part time housekeeper/cleaner for long term permanent position in a holiday apartment complex. There are departure cleans when customers check-out and weekly service cleans for customers that stay for more than 7 nights. Departure cleans for 1 bedroom apartments are expected to be done in around 1 hour, and for 2 bedroom apartments, around 2 hours. Service cleans take about half an hour. Most customers are workers, hospital patients from rural/regional areas, and tourists. Will be the main head housekeeper in cleaning staff of only 2. Most days you will be the only housekeeper working but only very busy days a second housekeeper will work at the same time to complete all the departure and service cleans. A minimum of 15-30 hours per week depending on how busy.

Requirements:

- Must be available to work Monday to Saturday.
- Numbers of departure/service cleans change based on number of bookings, so hours change and some days you may not have to come in.




- Please only apply if you are reliable and can work between Monday and Saturday 9am to 4pm.

The housekeeping duties include the following:

- Holiday apartment cleaning of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments
- Stripping dirty linen from beds and rooms
- Taking out rubbish from rooms
- Making beds, putting pillow covers on, putting blankets in wardrobes
- Wiping and scrubbing surfaces
- Replenishing guest amenities and washing dishes
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Staging the room for the next tourist
- Organising linen/storage rooms
- Putting away linen stock into linen/storage rooms
- And other related duties
