We're looking for caring, reliable and dedicated Female Disability Support Workers to provide quality, person-centred support to NDIS participants across Adelaide.
We're particularly interested in people who are patient, approachable and have excellent English communication skills. Someone who understands the importance of building trust, respecting individual preferences and helping people feel comfortable and supported.
About the Role
The role may involve:
- Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
- Supporting participants with community access and social activities.
- Encouraging independence, choice and participation in everyday routines.
- Building positive, respectful and supportive relationships with participants.
- Communicating clearly and adapting to individual needs and preferences.
Specific duties, schedules and arrangements will be discussed with suitable applicants.
Requirements
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification.
- Valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Excellent spoken English and robust communication skills.
- Australian working rights.
- ABN and appropriate insurance for subcontractor work.
- Reliable, patient and respectful approach to disability support.
Desirable
- Previous experience in disability support or personal care.
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or a related field.
- Experience providing person-centred support to people with diverse needs.
