Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced DataStage Designer / ETL skilled to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise data integration solutions. The role requires strong hands-on experience in IBM DataStage, SQL, database technologies, ETL design, troubleshooting, and data validation.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain IBM DataStage ETL jobs for enterprise data integration.Develop ETL workflows for extracting, transforming, and loading data across heterogeneous source and target systems.Analyze source-to-target mappings and translate business/data requirements into scalable ETL solutions.Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database operations.Perform data validation, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for data/ETL issues.Optimize DataStage jobs for performance, reliability, restartability, and efficient batch processing.Support production deployments, defect resolution, and batch/job failures.Work closely with data architects, developers, testers,



and business stakeholders.Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance to junior team members.Follow coding standards, version-control practices, and release/deployment processes.

Skill Requirements

Strong hands-on expertise in IBM InfoSphere DataStage / DataStage DesignerETL design and developmentStrong SQL and relational database knowledgeExperience with databases such as Oracle and MS SQL ServerData mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliationData Warehouse / Data Integration conceptsPerformance tuning and ETL troubleshootingUnix/Linux and shell scripting knowledgeStrong analytical and problem-solving capability
