Key Areas of Responsibility:

- Perform regular inspection and maintenance of gas extraction equipment and associated parts.

- Carryout tuning and balancing of landfill gas extraction system to optimise gas extraction.

- Utilise gas management program to analyse data.

- Undertake reporting, fault-finding and repairs.

- Improve the gas field monitoring system to ensure optimum output.

- Carry out routine housekeeping duties.

- Actively ensure own health and safety and the safety of others through understanding and implementing workplace health and safety obligations.

- In addition to the duties set out above, the Technician may be expected to perform other duties as assigned from time to time by the Company.

- Utilise the Maintenance Management and Quality Assurance Systems as part of the daily functions;

- Support and comply with Company policies and procedures as advised and documented in the Company’s employment policies.

Person Specification:

Qualifications and Experience:

- Mechanical/Plumbing trade or certificate qualifications preferred

- First aid certificate desirable.

- Current driver’s license is essential.

- Basic computer skills essential.

Experience in the following will also be an advantage:

- Landfill gas operations.

- Gasfield construction, monitoring, tuning and fault finding

- Civil contract works

- Drainage contract works

- Electrofusion welding
