Seeking Expressions of Interest for Motor Mechanic/Technician in Nerang.

We are looking for an experienced light vehicle technician/mechanic to join our small team at The Gold Coast Workshop.

The business is owner operated and we work across most makes and models with a European focus. Ideally you will possess 5 years experience across a range of makes and models.

This role would particularly suit a passionate individual with a willingness to work hard and learn from a highly experienced mechanic.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

- Maintain, test and repair engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, brakes, interior and exterior parts and mechanisms.
- Perform scheduled maintenance servicing and inspections,
- Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on vehicles,
- Repair and or replace worn and defective parts - ensuring correct tooling and parts are confirmed for a particular job.




- Reassemble components - referring to service manuals where necessary,
- Reassemble engines and parts after being repaired,
- Diagnose and test parts with the assistance of scan tools,
- Dispose of rubbish and waste in the appropriate manner and location,
- Maintain an adequately stocked tool box to perform tasks,
- Appropriately use and store workshop tools and equipment,
- Adhere to safety procedures in operating vehicles, tools and machinery.
