About Coo Coo Bakehouse

Coo Coo Bakehouse runs popular, hands-on children’s baking and cake decorating workshops across Melbourne (with a strong focus on Maribyrnong and Prahran) during school holidays and weekends.

Because our classes use pre-baked goods, no on-site kitchen or heavy baking setup is required - allowing us to pop up in wonderful community spaces, cafes, and local venues. We specialise in teaching kids fun, creative techniques like palette knife buttercream painting.

We are looking for an energetic, community-minded individual who loves working with children, has a creative flair, and - crucially - is already active on social media and looking to grow their own personal brand or platform alongside ours.

What You’ll Do

- Co-Host & Facilitate Workshops: Lead and guide small groups of children (ages 4–12) through fun, step-by-step cake decorating and baking activities during school holidays.
- Create Content & Grow Together: Capture engaging behind-the-scenes content (Reels, stories) during workshops to cross-promote, boost visibility, and grow both Coo Coo Bakehouse and your own personal creator platform.
- Foster a Magical Experience: Create a warm, welcoming, and encouraging environment where kids can build confidence and have fun.
- Manage On-Site Operations: Handle event setup, participant check-ins, materials distribution, and pack-down.

What We’re Looking For

- Active Social Media Presence: You already enjoy creating short-form video content (Instagram Reels / TikTok) and are actively looking to grow your own social footprint and digital audience.




- The Right Vibe: High energy, patient, warm, and fantastic with children and parents.
- Creative Flair: An eye for cake decorating, crafting, or content creation (prior baking experience is a bonus, but full training on our class style will be provided!).
- Valid Credentials: Must hold (or be willing to obtain) a valid Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC)
