This is an chance to shape, deliver and lead complex technical solutions to physical asset management problems.

What will your typical day look like?

In this role, you'll lead senior client conversations on how product information is governed, connected and used across complex engineering and operational environments, with the intention of shaping and deploying complex technical solutions that can meet the needs.

You must have significant project delivery expertise and be able to show it. Your focus could span the Digital Thread including PLM strategy, systems and software engineering, product compliance, with scope to shape transformation programs from early problem definition through to delivery oversight.

The work is high impact and often high stakes, particularly in sectors like defence, manufacturing and complex asset-intensive industries. You'll help clients respond to regulatory requirements, improve lifecycle decision-making, and modernise the systems and processes that sit behind product development, sustainment and performance.

Alongside client leadership, you'll play a visible role in growing the practice - identifying opportunities, shaping proposals, building trusted relationships and guiding teams to deliver quality outcomes. This is a role for someone who enjoys leading from the front, developing capability in others, and helping define where this market offering goes next.

About the team

Deloitte's Product Strategy and Lifecycle Management team helps organisations transform how they manage product development information from end to end.



The team works across Product Lifecycle Management strategy, systems and software engineering, product compliance and the digital thread, supporting clients such as defence organisations, manufacturers and sustainers of complex assets. It's a growing and highly visible area of the business, bringing together sharp thinkers who enjoy solving new problems with practical, technology-enabled solutions.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences:
Significant experience in software, engineering, product development, or a related field, with deep expertise in Product Lifecycle Management environments
A strong track record leading complex client engagements and delivering commercially valuable outcomes across PLM, systems engineering, compliance or digital thread programs
Experience with major PLM platforms such as Teamcenter, Aras Innovator, Enovia, 3DX or Windchill
Ability to engage senior stakeholders, shape transformation roadmaps, and guide solution design that supports business and regulatory requirements
Strong commercial and market-facing skills, including proposal development, scope definition and identifying new client opportunities
Experience leading teams and creating an environment where people can grow, contribute and do strong work together
Confidence navigating technical, strategic and operational conversations, and translating complexity into clear direction for clients and teams
Australian citizenship is strongly preferred due to the nature of some client environments
