We are seeking a qualified and experienced Remedial Massage Therapist to join our skilled spa team.

The successful applicant will provide specialised remedial massage treatments, conduct client assessments and develop individualised treatment plans to address muscular tension, soft tissue dysfunction and musculoskeletal concerns.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive client consultations and health assessments.
- Assess muscular tension, soft tissue conditions and client treatment requirements.
- Develop and deliver individualised remedial massage treatment plans.
- Perform remedial massage, deep tissue, trigger point and myofascial release techniques.
- Provide pregnancy massage to eligible clients, with appropriate training and competency.




- Maintain accurate client treatment records and progress notes.
- Identify contraindications and ensure treatments are appropriate for individual clients.
- Provide professional treatment recommendations and aftercare advice.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, infection control and workplace safety.
- Work collaboratively with other therapists and spa team members.

About you

- Minimum five years of relevant, hands-on professional experience in remedial massage therapy.
- A relevant, recognised remedial massage qualification and any additional qualifications required for the treatments to be performed.
- Be registered with a massage association and have a provider number.
- Demonstrated practical competency across facial treatments, massage therapies and a broad range of professional spa services.
- Proven ability to conduct comprehensive consultations, assess client needs and formulate appropriate treatment recommendations.
- Demonstrated competency in delivering safe, professional and client-centred treatments with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and client relationship skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, professional presentation and commitment to hygiene and workplace standards.
- Ability to work a full-time roster, Tuesday-Saturday including the availability required for the spa's operating hours.

Salary $79500 - $85000 +super negotiable based on qualifications and experience
